We believe that every child deserves access to basic needs to bloom in their education. At Touch A Soul, we provide financial assistance to struggling families with children by partnering with schools.

"We would like to thank you all for the unconditional financial support that you have provided the district since February 2019. All of the graduating (reduced fee) 8th graders from the three schools were able to leave with $0 debt from your support. That is a huge burden off the student’s and families as they enter a new chapter in high school. Again, with the deepest gratitude for the work that Touch A Soul does for the community, our community at Ravenswood City School district is truly grateful"

"The Touch a Soul Program has allowed our families to not have to worry about being able to afford healthy meals for their children. By taking away even the reduced cost of lunch, our students and their families may have had the opportunity to participate in after school enrichment activities that they may not have been able to afford previously. Thank you so much for taking care of our students!"

John Sinnot Elementary School.
"The ability to eat is a primary need. Without this need being met the challenge to learn can be insurmountable. We are blessed to have been supported by Touch a Soul for the last two years. Touch a Soul recognized that by paying for reduced lunch costs they promote strong bodies ready to take on the challenge of learning. Thank you Touch a Soul!"
– Principal Maria Hartman at Curtner Elementary School.
“Students who qualify for reduced priced meals pay $ 0.30 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch.
The meal cost may seem minimal, but it can add up and pose a financial hardship on these families.
Since October 2017, "Touch A Soul"'s generosity has allowed our students to receive proper nutrition without worrying about the financial burden. In addition, this also helped minimize the negative charges that students accrued in their meal accounts, freeing up the department’s resources to focus on other aspects of the meal operation."

Student Nutrition Services at
Milpitas Unified School District.
